How it started
Hi, I'm Liz!
I started my grooming career at just 12 years old helping my neighbor who has her own mobile business. After working with her for 5 years, I started working with another family friend at the animal shelters in the greater Los Angeles area. When I turned 18 I left for UC Davis with thoughts to pursue VetMed. After dropping out I worked at PetSmart for 3 years learning the haircut basics of grooming. After 3 years I learned about tradeshows and continuing education in the industry; something I now take great pride in participating in every year. After training under another local mobile groomer for 3 years following PetSmart, I learned the ups and downs of owning and running a business. I launched my company Diamond Dogs Mobile Pet Spa in May 2025 as tribute to my first two dogs Bowie and Ziggy.
